Membership Categories
Adhivakta Congress is a dynamic platform dedicated to uniting members of the legal fraternity, promoting justice, professional excellence, legal awareness, and social service. To encourage broad participation and meaningful contribution, the organisation offers the following membership categories:
 

1. GENERAL MEMBERSHIP0

Eligibility:
Any Advocate, law student, legal academic, researcher, or person associated with the legal field.
Description:
General Membership is ideal for individuals who wish to be associated with the mission and activities of Adhivakta Congress without participating in organisational governance.
Privileges:

• Association with Adhivakta Congress initiatives.
• Access to updates, programmes, seminars, and awareness campaigns.
• Opportunity to participate in non-governance activities 

Restrictions:

• No voting rights 
• Not eligible to contest elections or hold organisational office 

Membership Fee:

• ₹0 (Free) for one year, or as determined by the Management Committee.
• ₹1,000 (One Thousand) for life, or as determined by the Management Committee.

 

2. ACTIVE MEMBERSHIP0

Eligibility:
Advocates and eligible legal professionals committed to active participation.
Description:
Active Members are the core working members of the organisation who contribute to its administration, programmes, campaigns, and governance.
Rights & Privileges:

• Right to vote in organisational elections 
• Right to contest for eligible positions 
• Right to attend meetings and participate in decision-making 
• Right to propose resolutions, suggestions, and initiatives 
• Right to participate in all organisational programmes and activities 

Membership Fee:

• ₹1,000/- per year, or as revised by the Management Committee.
• ₹10,000/- (Ten thousands) for life, or as revised by the Management Committee.

 

3. INVITEE MEMBERSHIP0

Eligibility:
By invitation only.
Description:
This membership is reserved for individuals specially invited by the Chairman, Trustees, or the Management Committee to participate in selected activities or meetings.
Privileges:

• Participation in designated events, meetings, or advisory discussions 
• Special representation in invited capacities 

Restrictions:

• No permanent governance rights unless otherwise approved 

4. HONORARY MEMBERSHIP0

Granted to distinguished personalities for exceptional contribution to law, justice, public service, or social causes.
Features:

• Invitation/nomination based 
• No membership fee 

 

5. PATRON MEMBERSHIP0

Eligibility:
Senior advocates, eminent legal professionals, philanthropists, distinguished public personalities, or individuals making substantial contributions to the organisation.
Description:

• Patron Members are esteemed supporters who provide strategic, financial, moral, or institutional support to strengthen the organisation.

Privileges:

• Recognition as a Patron of Adhivakta Congress 
• Special invitations to major programmes and ceremonies 
• Advisory consultation, where appropriate 
• Public acknowledgment on website/publications (if approved) 

 

6. ADVISORY MEMBERSHIP0

Eligibility:
Respected advocates, retired judges, legal scholars, policy experts, academicians, or distinguished professionals.
Description:
Advisory Members provide guidance, mentorship, policy advice, and strategic recommendations for organisational growth.
Privileges:

• Participation in advisory consultations 
• Contribution to policy discussions 
• Mentorship roles in organisational initiatives 

 

7. SUPPORTING MEMBERSHIP0

Eligibility:
Individuals or organisations wishing to support the mission of Adhivakta Congress.
Description:
Supporting Members may not actively participate in governance but contribute through voluntary support, collaboration, advocacy, or sponsorship.

• Recognition as supporting partners 
• Participation in selected events and campaigns 
• Collaboration opportunities 

Restrictions:
No voting or election rights 

 

8. OUTSIDE SUPPORTING MEMBERSHIP0

Eligibility:
Legal professionals, institutions, NGOs, advocates, supporters, or sympathisers residing outside the local/state jurisdiction or outside India.
Description:
This category enables external supporters to associate with and support Adhivakta Congress from other regions or countries.
Privileges:

• Remote participation in suitable activities 
• Updates and engagement opportunities 
• Collaboration on legal/social initiatives 

Restrictions:
Governance rights subject to organisational policy 
 

9. ECONOMIC SUPPORT MEMBERSHIP0

Eligibility:
Any individual, institution, donor, or organisation willing to financially support Adhivakta Congress.
Description:
This category is designed for supporters who wish to contribute financially toward legal aid, welfare programmes, awareness initiatives, advocacy campaigns, and organisational development.
Privileges:

• Recognition as financial supporters (where appropriate) 
• Invitation to donor-related events/programmes 
• Reports or updates regarding supported initiatives 

Suggested Contribution:
As determined by the organisation.
 

10. STUDENT MEMBERSHIP0

For law students and aspiring legal professionals.
Benefits:

Membership Fee:
As determined by the Management Committee.
 

11. INSTITUTIONAL MEMBERSHIP0
